| Floods and elephants October brought flooding to the Elephant Village. An uncommon event that only happens every several years.
Our highly skilled mahouts where able to move our babies out of the nursery without incident

The babies enjoyed running through the water with their mums.

The elephants are well looked after. Many mahouts were on standby for the move to
ensure the elephants were safe.
Elephant feet are treated with ultaviolet to prevent bacterial infection.

The elephants are unpeturbed by the water and share the road with boats.
Tractors are used to get through the flooded roads.
